Sunday, August 10th 9am-Noon
The vineyard has been flourishing since our planting in March. Come see what a vineyard looks like after only 5 months, while we establish the cordon. The cordon is the horizontal arm of the vine that will carry the fruit in coming years. We’ll also be sampling some of California’s best kosher wines! Join us for one hour of light volunteer work, followed by wine tasting, education, and an optional vineyard study prepared by Yasha Magarik of the Jewish Food Justice Fellowship.
A light lunch and beverages will be provided. Space is limited!
*This event is not appropriate for children, due to safety reasons. There will be no childcare or children’s programming. Teenagers 13-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
