Join The Hive and Jeighborhood in welcoming Lara Worm from Bivouac Ciderworks in a special Earth Day-inspired food tasting and cider pairing dinner, accompanied by an interactive discussion of Judaism, social and environmental practices, our global community, and Lara’s personal story and unique business path.
The dinner will explore the concept of L’dor v’ dor, from generation to generation, as it applies to Jewish teachings of protection and farming of the Earth, and what it means for our community to pass down memories, traditions, and even businesses. As we enter this spring season with a renewed sense of hope and reflection, we should take lessons from our Jewish history and teachings, and recognize the importance of maintaining the bonds from generation to generation.
You won’t want to miss this fun, interesting, and delicious Shabbat by the Sea!
Guests can purchase a table (up to six guests) for their own pod, or sit at a community table to make new friends (register soon – we can only honor GF and vegan dietary preferences submitted by Monday, April 17th)!
Please email Paige Milgrom-Hills if you have additional questions or need support.

With a twist of fate, Lara has found herself back in the world of hospitality in Bivouac Ciderworks, an outdoor-inspired craft cider brand with a tasting room & restaurant in North Park, San Diego.
