When the Spark Fades: How to Keep Volunteers Engaged

November 30, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am PST

- $18

Volunteers make the nonprofit world go round – they save money, offer needed skills, bring renewed energy, and increase community ownership. Sustaining their passion for your work is vital.

Join us in exploring the reasons why volunteers, who start their service with excitement, may lose interest and the steps you can take to keep them engaged, happy, and satisfied. We’ll discuss ways to strengthen volunteer commitment by:

  • Providing training, guidance, and feedback.
  • Making the best use of time.
  • Acknowledging contributions.
  • Recognizing and addressing signs of burnout.
  • Identifying new opportunities.

Tickets are $18/per person. Please reach out to paige@thehivesd.org if ticket pricing is prohibiting your attendance. Scholarships are available.
