Mimuna: Celebrate the End of Passover Moroccan Style
April 28 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm -
Celebrate Mimuna with people of all backgrounds and faiths at The Hive as we connect over food, music and learning!
Mimuna is a practice from the North African Jewish community that brought Muslims and Jews together to wish for luck, blessings, and joy. According to the tradition, Jews received gifts of a pastry called mufletta, honey, milk, butter and green beans from their Muslim neighbors the night after Passover.
Return to the world of hametz (leavened bread) the night after Passover and learn about interfaith work in North County with Mimuna’s warm connection and tasty treats!
