SUMMARY:Coastal Roots Farm: Tishrei Ag Fest
DESCRIPTION:The cycle of agriculture requires that we continually regenerate\, repair\, and renew in order to grow. Likewise\, the Hebrew month of Tishrei\, often referred to as the “month of beginning\,” is the first month of the Jewish year and reminds us that such renewal is possible at the human level too: with each new year\, we reflect where we have been and where we’re going so that we may begin again with intention. \nThe month of Tishrei encompasses the Jewish holidays known as “the chaggim (holidays)” – Rosh Hashanah\, Yom Kippur\, Sukkot\, and Simchat Torah. The start of the month is marked by the sliver of a new moon that grows increasingly bright with each passing day. \nEmbracing the light of our beloved Sukkot Harvest Festival\, Coastal Roots Farm’s first-ever Tishrei Ag Fest will also elevate these other holidays and invite us to kick off the joyous and regenerative beginning of this Jewish year.

SUMMARY:Havdalah on the Farm
DESCRIPTION:Havdalah\, literally meaning separation\, is a ritual held at the end of Shabbat\, after the sun has set and when three stars appear. There are blessings over wine\, a candle\, and spices. It is a ritual that allows us to hold onto the sweet moments of Shabbat for just a few more minutes before going into our busy week.

SUMMARY:Sukkot Harvest Festival: A Drive-Thru Experience
DESCRIPTION:Coastal Roots Farm and The Hive at Leichtag Commons welcome you to the 8th Annual Sukkot Harvest Festival. We can’t wait to host you for this unique Drive-Thru Experience.  \nDuring Sukkot we traditionally gather community outdoors to celebrate the end of an abundant summer harvest and welcome in the fall season and all it brings. The Sukkah structure represents a spirit of radical hospitality\, and we at Coastal Roots Farm have been privileged to gather alongside our community year after year. Historically\, the Sukkot Harvest Festival has been the Farm’s biggest event of the year. \nWhereas this year we are not able to gather in the traditional sense\, we are grateful to still bring community together to experience Sukkot from your car. People of all backgrounds are welcome. So...buckle up and get ready for Sukkot on the Farm like never before!
